Korean Air Wins Eight Honors at 2026 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards
South Korea’s flagship carrier, Korean Air, has received eight honors at the 2026 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards, including five Gold and three Silver awards, recognizing its international service quality and premium passenger experience.
Presented by U.S.-based travel publication Travel Weekly, the annual awards recognize excellence across the global travel and tourism industries.
Korean Air earned Gold awards in the International Carrier and Service categories for the second consecutive year. The airline also received three Gold awards for First Class, Airport Lounge, and In-Flight Menu, highlighting its premium passenger services.
The recognition reflects the growing importance of the overall passenger journey, from airport lounges and ground services to onboard comfort and dining.
As international airlines compete for business travelers and high-income passengers, premium airport facilities and personalized services have become important factors in airline differentiation.
The eight awards further strengthen Korean Air’s reputation as a leading international carrier, particularly in premium travel and customer service.
