Trip.com has rolled out a large-scale co-branded advertising campaign across Seoul, utilizing more than 1,000 city buses and approximately 200 hotel partners to connect travelers with exclusive accommodation offers.
The campaign transforms Seoul’s extensive bus network into a city-wide travel marketing platform. Bus exteriors feature customized creative showcasing individual hotel partners, promotional room rates, and QR codes that direct consumers to dedicated booking pages.
Through the QR-enabled advertisements, commuters can instantly access hotel-specific promotional offers linked to each bus route. The initiative combines out-of-home advertising with direct-response marketing, creating a seamless path from brand awareness to booking conversion.
Among the campaign’s more distinctive executions, customers who photograph Bus Route 5516 can book a stay at Swan Dor Cam Ranh Resort for KRW 5,516, while those who capture Bus Route 2227 can access a special offer to book Hotel New Otani Hakata for KRW 2,227.
According to Trip.com, the project is designed to go beyond traditional brand exposure by integrating partnership marketing and performance-driven activation within a single campaign.
