From Seoul to the World: Amorepacific Targets Global Travelers with Landmark Airport Advertising
South Korean beauty giant Amorepacific is strengthening its global marketing presence through strategic out-of-home (OOH) advertising campaigns at Seoul Incheon International Airport, South Korea’s main international gateway. The campaigns target international travelers, affluent consumers, and premium beauty shoppers across Terminals 1 and 2.
Amorepacific reported consolidated revenue of KRW 2.31 trillion ($1.6 billion approximately) in the first half of 2026, up 11.5% year-on-year. Operating profit increased 27.5% to KRW 244.1 billion, lifting its operating margin from 9.2% to 10.6%.
International markets have been a major growth driver. In the second quarter, overseas revenue rose 27.6% to KRW 551.6 billion, while operating profit nearly doubled to KRW 71.8 billion. Stronger sales in the Americas and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), alongside growth from COSRX, supported the performance.
As Amorepacific expands internationally, airport advertising offers a valuable connection between brand visibility and premium consumer engagement.
Seoul Incheon International Airport handled approximately 38.39 million international passengers in the first half of 2026, ranking first globally for international passenger traffic during the period, according to Airports Council International (ACI).
The airport's large-format digital out-of-home (DOOH) screens, strategically positioned along departure, arrival, and duty-free shopping routes, provide opportunities to reach international audiences at important points in their journeys.
By maintaining campaigns at landmark advertising locations across both terminals, Amorepacific can reinforce brand recognition among global travelers while supporting its international growth strategy.
For Korean beauty companies seeking greater international exposure, Seoul Incheon Airport represents more than a transportation hub. It serves as a premium media platform connecting Korean brands with consumers from around the world.
