WOO and Moving Walls to Co-Host Net Zero Webinar as Industry Seeks Practical Climate Action

The World Out of Home Organization (WOO) has rescheduled its upcoming sustainability-focused webinar, now to be co-hosted with Moving Walls, highlighting the growing urgency for practical and measurable climate action across the global Out-of-Home (OOH) industry.

The session, titled “From Commitment to Action: Making Net Zero OOH Practical, Measurable, and Commercially Viable,” will take place on April 14 at 1:00 PM UK time. The 60-minute webinar will focus on how the industry can move beyond sustainability pledges toward real-world implementation.

WOO said existing registrations will remain valid, with updated access details to be shared ahead of the session. The organization is encouraging participation from media owners, agencies, and advertisers as sustainability expectations continue to rise across markets.

The webinar will explore key industry challenges, including how to measure and report carbon impact in OOH, convert sustainability data into actionable insights, align environmental targets with commercial performance, and prepare for increasing demands from advertisers and regulators.

The session will feature expert presentations followed by a live Q&A, providing a platform for industry stakeholders to engage in practical discussions.

As OOH continues to strengthen its role in connecting digital and physical touchpoints, advertisers are placing greater emphasis on sustainability metrics alongside performance. This is driving the need for standardized measurement frameworks and clearer links between environmental responsibility and business outcomes.

Industry observers note that the transition to net zero in OOH will depend not only on commitments but on the ability to operationalize sustainability at scale. The upcoming webinar is expected to provide practical guidance as the sector navigates this critical transition.
