WOO Opens Nominations for Tenth Global Awards 2026

The World Out of Home Organization (WOO) has officially opened nominations for the Tenth WOO Global Awards 2026, inviting its global membership to put forward candidates and campaigns that represent excellence across the out-of-home (OOH) industry.
The announcement follows the presentation of the Ninth WOO Global Awards, which took place during the WOO Congress in Mexico City last June. Over the years, the awards have established themselves as a key international benchmark for achievement, innovation and creativity in the OOH sector.
The 2026 awards ceremony will be held during the next WOO Annual Congress, scheduled for June 3–5 in London. The awards will be presented on the first full day of the Congress, Thursday, June 4.
As in previous years, award recipients will be selected by an independent Awards Committee. The panel will include WOO President Tom Goddard, two former WOO presidents, two current board members, and a number of recognised industry experts and creatives. Additional committee members will be announced in the coming weeks.
WOO members are invited to submit nominations across seven categories. These include the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising an individual who has devoted their career to the OOH medium and earned wide respect from industry peers, and the Leadership Award, honouring those who have consistently demonstrated pioneering leadership and inspired others in the sector.
Other categories include the Technical Innovation Award, for suppliers or OOH companies that have delivered breakthrough products or technologies, and the Sustainability Award, which focuses on initiatives or innovations advancing sustainability within the industry. Creative excellence will again be recognised through the Creative Award – Classic and Digital, as well as the Creative Award – Special Build, covering campaigns that extend or reimagine traditional formats, including bespoke and experiential executions. Eligible creative work must have been posted from March 31, 2025 onwards.
The Rising Star Award will recognise emerging talent within OOH. Nominees must be aged 35 or under as of March 31, 2025, and be directly employed by or connected to an organisation operating within the OOH ecosystem, such as a media owner, specialist or technology provider.
Commenting on the 2026 awards, WOO Chief Marketing Officer Richard Saturley said the programme would be “bigger and better than ever,” reflecting the strong focus on creativity at the London Congress and its role in driving the impact and scale of the OOH medium. He added that creativity in all its forms would be central to this year’s awards.
The Creative Awards will be convened by WOO’s creative-in-residence Dino Burbidge, alongside Chair of Judges Mathew Dearden.
Nominations will be submitted online via WOO’s official platform. Each member, or each country business unit within an international organisation, is limited to one nomination per category. Only current WOO members or National OOH Associations are eligible to nominate, and there is no cost to enter.
WOO has encouraged members worldwide to take part, positioning the Global Awards as not only a celebration of achievement, but also a reflection of the industry’s continued evolution in creativity, technology and sustainability. #WOOLondon26
