JCDecaux SE (Euronext Paris: DEC) has won three major awards at the 2026 Grand Prix des Régies and Grand Prix des Médias, organised by CB News, a leading French magazine covering marketing, media and communications.

The company was named Best Out-of-Home Media Partner 2026 and received the Grand Prix des Régies 2026 across all media categories. Its campaign announcing Céline Dion’s return to the stage also won the Best Communications Stunt – Special Activation award.

The Grand Prix des Régies evaluates advertising sales houses in five categories: television, press, radio and audio, Out-of-Home, and pure-play digital media. It also selects the Media Partner of the Year across all media sectors.

This year’s winners were chosen by an expert jury and through a survey of industry professionals conducted by research company OpinionWay. The two media awards recognised JCDecaux’s continued investment in innovation, data, digital transformation and measurable campaign performance.

JCDecaux describes its Out-of-Home offering as “brandformance” media, combining brand-building power with measurable business results. Its urban and transport networks deliver mass reach while allowing advertisers to target audiences across different locations and environments.

The company also offers programmatic access to its media inventory and provides agencies and advertisers with an integrated set of AI-supported tools. These services are grouped under OneSuite, which covers campaign creation, media planning, activation, optimisation and near real-time campaign management.

JCDecaux’s 360 Footprint tool measures the environmental, economic and social effects of advertising campaigns. The company also works with cities and regions to provide advertising-funded street furniture and other public services.

The award-winning Céline Dion campaign demonstrated how physical media can generate global attention through social and digital channels. The campaign began in Paris, where handwritten lyrics from some of Dion’s best-known songs appeared anonymously on 130 JCDecaux street furniture assets.

The advertisements initially carried no logo or date, encouraging public curiosity and online discussion. The campaign was later revealed simultaneously across 12 major international cities as an announcement of Dion’s return to the stage.

According to JCDecaux, the campaign generated an estimated 6.74 billion impressions and US$64.2 million in earned media value. The activation showed how Out-of-Home advertising can serve as the starting point for a wider cultural event and amplify its impact through news coverage and social media.

Jean Muller, Executive Vice-President of Sales, Marketing and Development for JCDecaux France, Luxembourg, Israel and Belgium, said the recognition demonstrated the company’s ability to increase brand awareness, desirability and conversion. He added that the Céline Dion campaign had transformed public space into the first stage of a global event.

Jean-Charles Decaux, Chairman of the Executive Board and Co-Chief Executive Officer of JCDecaux, thanked CB News, the judging panel, industry professionals, clients and employees. He said the company would continue to innovate as the media landscape evolves and strengthen its role as a preferred partner for agencies and advertisers.
